Sunflower, Tarahumara (Helianthus annuus)
This old-fashioned “sunny” sunflower grows 6-9 feet tall. Large flowering heads have beautiful bright yellow petals with yellow-green centers and produce edible white seeds. Great for attracting birds to your garden, or planting a sunflower house for children. Easy to grow; tolerates a wide range of soil types and conditions.
