Lettuce, Oscarde (Lactuca sativa)
This miniature oakleaf lettuce has beautiful burgundy leaves with rounded lobes. Oscarde’s leaves are almost entirely red, making it a fantastic standout in salad mixes. Good texture and fresh flavor. Best planted in cooler weather, since lettuce seed does not germinate well at high soil temperatures.
